Housing
UBC has approximately 500 rental housing units in 10 buildings designated for faculty and staff in the campus residential neighbourhoods known as Hawthorne Place, Wesbrook Place, and East Campus. They are available to faculty and staff at lower rents than what an equivalent unit would cost in the regular marketplace.
Childcare
UBC Child Care Services provides about 600 spaces designed for the children of students, faculty and staff at UBC. All faculty and staff may apply for the UBC Child Care Waitlist, however early inquiries about available space is recommended.
